Yongte Waste Clothes Recycling Machine, Turning Textile Waste into High-Grade WPC Decking

Yongte is global leader manufacturer in WPC (Wood-Plastic Composite) processing equipment, we have officially launched a dedicated waste clothes recycling production line that achieves end-to-end conversion of textile waste into high-performance WPC decking.  Today the full waste clothes recycling plant is tested in our factory and the testing is very successful to make high quality WPC decking products from the clothes wastage material.

From Waste Clothes to WPC Decking in One Flow

Unlike traditional fragmented recycling systems, Yongte’s newly developed machine integrates four core functional modules – waste clothes recycyling, clothes scrap and plastic composition, and WPC extrusion – to realize a one-stop solution for textile waste utilization. The whole process is high automated, eliminating the need for manual transfer between processing stages and significantly improving production efficiency. the complete production process as below:

1, waste clothes recycling machine:

The waste clothes are shredded and crushed into small pieces as showed in below picture.

2, High speed mixing machine:

the clothes are mixed with recycled PE plastic and chemical additives as per Yongte's formulation which is specially designed for using 70% clothes wastage, the mixing temperature can reach to 100-110 degree.

3, Composite granulation machine:

the mixture material are melted and processed into flakes by specially designed granulation machine, it equip with parallel double screw extruder which can ensure the clothes material and plastic material can be good melted and mixed in the extruder and then composited together to ensure the quality of the composite material. 

4, WPC decking extrusion production line:

The composited material is feeded to our conical twin screw extrusion machine with special designed WPC decking mold to make the required WPC products, and the come out material is very good composited with uniform flow and high strength, our WPC extrusion line is automatic with auto cooling and auto cutting equipment.

5, Co-extrusion and online embossing:

In the beginning of the testing, we have tested to make the WPC decking with single extrusion by waste clothes and plastic composited material only. the product come out is good in strength, but the surface color is not uniform because the waste material color is not uniform. so then we turn on our co-extrusion system to cover the surface with high quality surface which with beautiful color and can be used for more than 15 years. and then we start the online embossing machine to make the decking surface with deep wooden grain texture. so finally, we get the perfect testing result to make a beautiful and high quality WPC decking products by the clothes wastage and plastic wastage.
