WPC Production Process Steps:

Production flow.jpg

Our WPC Production turnkey project covers the entire WPC production process from raw material preparation to finished products with following steps:

1, Wood Powder Production

Yongte Wood Powder Production Equipment efficiently converts agricultural and forestry waste—including logs, sawdust, rice husks, and wheat straw—into high-purity, uniformly graded wood powder. This eco-friendly solution not only maximizes the utilization of renewable resources but also significantly reduces industrial waste disposal, aligning with global sustainability goals.

2, Plastic Recycling

Yongte Plastic Recycling Equipment efficiently processes PP/PE plastic waste—including bottles, film, bags, and containers—into high-purity, uniformly sized plastic flakes through integrated crushing, cleaning, drying, and sorting processes. This eco-friendly solution not only minimizes environmental pollution but also significantly reduces raw material costs by maximizing the reuse of recycled plastics.

3, Raw Material Mixing

According to the formula provided by Yongte, wood powder, plastic, and auxiliary agents are mixed in a high-speed mixer. Our optimized formulas ensure the perfect balance between cost-effectiveness and product quality.

4, WPC Pellet Manufacturing

The mixture is precisely transported to WPC granulation machine, which integrates a high-efficiency parallel twin-screw extruder (custom-engineered for wood-plastic composite processing), a high-speed hot pelletizing system, and a rapid three-stage air cooling system. With a wood powder ratio of up to 60-70%, the produced WPC pellets feature uniform material distribution and optimal plasticization, ensuring consistent quality for downstream manufacturing.

5, WPC Profile Extrusion

The WPC pellets are precisely processed in WPC profile extrusion line, which integrates a custom-engineered conical twin-screw extruder, wood-plastic material-specific die head and mold, online 3D embossing device, high-efficiency cooling system, heavy-duty traction unit, and automated cutting system. The production process is highly efficient and stable, with precise parameter control at each stage, significantly boosting production capacity. The resulting WPC products feature consistent dimensions, smooth burr-free cut surfaces, realistic wood grain textures, and superior mechanical performance.

6, Co-Extrusion Process

The co-extrusion technology is used for coating special modified co-extrusion material on the WPC product surface layer to enhances the weather resistance of WPC products, enabling them to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environmental conditions without fading or cracking. Moreover, this process ensures a uniform distribution of the protective layer, eliminating the need for additional surface treatments and reducing production costs. The advanced formulation used in the co-extrusion process further improves the dimensional stability of WPC products, minimizing warping or deformation over time.

7, Online 3D Embossing Process

The online 3D embossing process creates deep, realistic wood grain textures on the surface of WPC products. We offer a diverse range of exquisite embossing designs that can be customized to meet specific customer requirements. This process not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the products but also improves their tactile quality, making them more closely resemble natural wood. The high precision of the online 3D embossing ensures consistent and uniform textures across the entire surface of the WPC products, eliminating any irregularities or flaws. Additionally, the embossing process is carried out during the production line, which increases efficiency and reduces production time and costs.

8, Sanding and brushing process

The sanding and brushing process is used to create a wood-like, rough texture on WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) products. We offer various types of sanding and brushing machines to achieve different levels of roughness. Our advanced sanding systems utilize precision abrasive belts and adjustable pressure controls to ensure uniform surface treatment, while the brushing units feature high-density nylon or steel brushes that enhance the natural wood grain appearance by accentuating texture depth. This dual-process approach not only improves the aesthetic appeal of WPC products but also enhances their slip resistance and tactile comfort, making them ideal for outdoor decking, garden furniture, and flooring applications. Additionally, our machines are equipped with dust collection systems to maintain a clean production environment and comply with environmental regulations.
